Is it behind a desk? Is it in your favorite chair? When cooking? Do you have a place dedicated to work...or do you roam from room to room thinking? Where does inspiration strike at home?
Ha, clearly I'm not thinking, or at the very least, not thinking clearly, 'cause I thought the title was asking where I thought these spaces were located. I was thinking Paris. Which would definitely be on my short list of inspirational locations. Now that I've had some coffee, I get you. I'm a definite roamer, with little to no time to sit and ponder.
But I'd gladly take any of the above spots as a place to stop and think and catch my breath.
I work at a desk, but do a lot of thinking in the kitchen, oddly enough, hahahah. Lots of thoughts come to me while I am stirring a cupcake batter, or frying some garlic.
And I love these workspaces. All of these are so inspiring!
Here lately, I don't think I think at all. Our summer is passing at a break neck speed, and I'm just trying to hang on...That being said, when I do start to think again, it will be about that Blue/grey desk in that room with that zebra rug...! xxx kim
i wish there was an off on switch for thinking. sometimes i can't get it to shut down and sometimes i can't get it to turn on. would have to say though, the most productive thinking happens at my desk or on walks.
unfortunately, it's on the kitchen table. this seem to be where everything happens, work, talking, eating. it's definitely not idea, but it receives the best light!
I'ld like to be in your first picture... To "think" and... dream, I have a room called "library" in my house... with a sweet couch... and a lot of books to... protect me ;)
I like the picture of "your" colors in the previous post too !!!!!
For me, it could be anywhere at home. It's so comfortable and inspiring. Sometimes in my office...sometimes and most often in the kitchen, and even when I'm just about asleep - this one's tricky, and I have to force myself to get up and draw/write it down before I forget!
I'm inspired with eyes closed before getting out of bed in the morning. Have to have a clean slate. And then I will be happy to sit at the desk in the first picture. Catherine
I'd love to work in a room like the second one, with soft blue and aqua colors! xo
ReplyDeletei really like that!!
ReplyDeletethe first and the last are my favorites!!!

these would be cool places to think!
ReplyDeletei think everywhere. i can't stop. even when watching tv. i have trouble getting away from my own brain. i wish all that thinking burned calories!
I'm a roaming thinker. Behind the steering wheel of the car comes to mind... these spaces are prettier though!

I don't think I have one spot in the house. Lately, I like sitting out in the garden with my journal.

i would love to have one room dedicated to inspiration. sadly, it's all boxed up in the "to-do" pile :(
ReplyDeleteOh c'mon! No one said the W/C?!? Just goes to show where my mind automatically wanders.
ReplyDeletei'm always thinking, it's a curse;) but my infamous locale is the couch, or sneaking moments at work;)
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I do my best thinking in the car or in the shower.
