I love this image. It is what I feel like(and DO!) every time I paint. It never ceases to amaze me how many tints of white there truly are in this world! Do you have a color that is tried and true that you seem to go back to over and over? Will you share it with the rest of us? Mine is BM Silver Fox. Really nice.
Do tell!

No tried and true color, but my home is literally awash in color. Everything from a dark, inky blue to a bright-as-sunshine yellow, shades of green and red, but perhaps my favorite, a happy as can be tone of carrot orange. Just color me happy!
ReplyDeleteMine is dove grey... it is a very soft grey with a tint of blue... LOVE it on my walls. It was the color that was here 19 years ago when we moved in our house and I still use it. It actually has slight diamond dust in it that changes with temperture. It sometimes is more on the lavender tint if it is warm... I adore this paint.

Me too, I am so indecisive with color - I am constantly changing my mind! I don't have one color that i like - there are waaay too many!
ReplyDeletei love blues of course but grey and silver are also some of my faves. i love to throw in yellow with blue and grey for a little pep!
ReplyDeletelately I'm loving taupe grey. but it changes all the time! purple is my all times fave!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Farrow and Ball, Lime white and Farrow and Ball, String . I have it everywhere and it looks different in different rooms, depending on the light. ....although I now want to paint everywhere a fashionable grey/white much to my husbands annoyance. But I love it the way it is really. XXXX
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are all Farrow & Ball as well. The colors are all gorgeous and such great names like Elephant's Breath, Pigeon, Mouse's Back, and Smoked Trout.
ReplyDeletehey this pic was on my blog! i love it!! OMG I mISS THIS BLOG!!!!! i missed u!!!
ReplyDeleteSidewalk Grey by Benjamin Moore. It SOUNDS so boring - but it's this beautiful blue grey. Not grey enough to be dull (or make your skin look bad) but not blue enough to loose its edge. I love white furniture and trim, and SG makes a wonderful backdrop.
ReplyDeleteAlso - I always paint walls in at least a semi gloss. It reflects light instead of absorbing it.
ooh, i love this image, too!
ReplyDeleteomg when i first saw these i had a slight panic attack. i thought i would actually have to choose ONE...haha! ok i´m off to catch up on your blog! will email soon. (we are away this weekend) sending you a big hug!
