.why so fab? why?
Why do I like this room? Tell me. Delicious walls, loads of quirk, I am sure you designers would say there is some juxtaposition of something or another. I don't know. I just want to be there. If you like it, can you name why? Let's hear it. Chat it up.

A delicate balance marked by the designers ablility to exercise restraint.
ReplyDeleteYour blod is one the loveliest and absolute the one with the best name.
You take care.
The romantic query letter and the happy-ever-after said.-Thank you!!! So glad you came by!
ReplyDeleteNo, cannot say other than the blanket or spread~,.....
ReplyDeleteDa-yum! I'm over the recent ubiquity of the Union Jack, but in this case I'm making an exception.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I ADORE genteel decay. Not to be confused with gentile decay, which is just sad.
Hm. Where did my first comment go? I was saying I like the blue and the yellow. Those are really the only "colors," but there's nothing cute or contrived as is often the case with this color combo. The white keeps it all clean and really casual with the crumbly walls, and the contrast with the rustic walls and the almost up tight bedspread. So cool.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to wax lyrical and be all deep and meaningful. I just like it because it's so simple and understated and, didn't cost a fortune. XXXX
ReplyDeleteWell that bedspread has got me all hot and bothered. And I love me some vestiges of grandeur, i.e. those peely, chippy walls and doors.
ReplyDeleteWait, wait how on earth could I forget to mention that ceiling!
wellllllllllllllllllllllllllll, i like the walls and the ceiling, and i pretty much want to scrap the rest of it. sorry about that, and feel free to shoot me for being jerky. :)
ReplyDeleteWhile I am fine with the Union Jack, I think I would be bowled over screaming with some other wonderful throw.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that BED!! The bed says it all to me...OMG!!
ReplyDeleteXOX's
like. not love.
ReplyDeleteI love the texture of the wall. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHarmonized chaos, maybe?
ReplyDeleteThere's also some serious texture going on here; I almost feel like I can touch the room through the picture.
Nifty! :-)
It's the colorway! So gorgeous. Especially those touches of acid yellow.
ReplyDeleteI just had to tell you the captcha for the last comment was hooterville. no joke.
ReplyDeletei love the walls, and what's on the walls, not a huge fan of that thing in the middle (table, bed??) ^_^
