Hmmmm......
Is the conversation with the light fixture or the person behind it on the couch? This room has great bones, and I am sure these pieces are really costly, well known and interesting(I would take a few), but does this function make sense? When does cool become odd?
Do tell.....
This looks suspiciously like a LivingEtc shot. They stage the hell out of their features. So much so that no human being could ever live comfortably in the space.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I wouldn't kick the little round chair out of bed for eating crackers.
I kinda like it!
ReplyDeletehaha! really odd! I love the hanging lamp... but not there!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they should have swapped the shades of the two lamps. How odd.
ReplyDeletecan we take it all away and start over? the room itself is spectacular!
ReplyDeletegreat blog... just love your banner and name... soooo fun.
Red Ticking-Thanks so much! Come visit often!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a bad clearance sales at Ikea!
ReplyDeletei think i´m leaning towards odd...
ReplyDeleteNot... looks like a college dorm.
ReplyDeleteXO's
Remove the bean bag type couch and lift the big ass hanging lamp about 36 inches and you have something more comfortable. Not my look, but it does have clean lines. I'm celebrating my 100th post for this weekend, swim on over and leave a comment and you will be entered in the giveaway. Sea Witch
ReplyDeleteNot vile, but strange.
ReplyDeleteI'm in two minds over this one....I love the shell of the room, the floorboards and the sofa and the rest, well.....a very weak O.K. XXXX
ReplyDeleteI feel at odds with this room. Not my style, but yes the bones of the room would work well with almost anything.
ReplyDeleteThis one's not working for me...
ReplyDeletexo
Take it all away and just let me have the space, sans furnishings, buck naked. (the room that is, not me...now that would be odd to say the least!) ;0)
ReplyDeleteSo much to catch up on, I've missed reading blogs for this past month or so... In here I like the table, its quite different and the rest of the room in the monochromatic works nicely but there are too many black shapes happening, the lamp is too low I agree, or if not to low too strong and dominant too low... something more delicate and seethrough would be better at that height..
