Some interesting placement of books. What do you think? I do have to say it bugs me when people style books in a way that says don't even think of picking me up and reading me. I am really a prop for this piece of crap shell on top of me. I have never been browsed. I am not reaching my destiny.
But, anyhoo.....
Oh,.. I like the middle one :)
ReplyDeleteLOL... How do you REALLY feel??!
ReplyDeleteGuilty as charged! Although I try to do it in a way that lets you get to the books if you want to read it. I mean, that is what they're for, right? "Piece of crap shell." LOL!
ReplyDeletei'm with you! books are for reading! it is fine to display them in a beautiful manner, but they are still made for reading, and must be accessible.
ReplyDeletea while ago i saw some designer had wrapped all of his/her books in brown paper. no titles showing on the sides. RETARDED. absolutely retarded and unforgivable.
Drollgirl-AAAAAHHHHHHHH. I saw that, too. I don't have to even read all of the books I own much less dress them. xoxox
ReplyDeleteI am not reaching my destiny.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant.
i like the middle one too.
ReplyDeletebut i definitely know what you mean about books that are physically impossible to read.
however, i think i might retire some of my penguins to a frame
for a little while at least...
You said it sister! Read on with your bad self! By the way, did I ever tell you how much I loved the book by the dad about his experience with each of his little ones. A lot, I tell ya. That's how much. Thanks for the recommendation. Anything irresistible on your reading list as of late???
ReplyDeletei agree. although the books in the second picture look more like display art pieces, or antiques not to be touched a lot rather than books to be read. i am slightly torn on this...
ReplyDeletemfamb-Totally agree. Love the second image as I believe it is a true book lover and a treasured collection. No problem with that at all over here.
