When it comes to a nest of tables, I just think of my parents house...it was the thing to have, so I would have said YUK.. BUT....the ones that you have shown are pretty gorgeous so I have changed my mind.I'm sure there is a use for the 'ickle' one....let the children create on it perhaps !!!! XXXX
Hope you're enjoying your new home! Moving is such a hassle, but then...like having a new life. (Sort of!) I've never had nesting tables. I think they would drive me nuts. But hey, that's just me. Glad you're back, Catherine
Good question. I think the little ones are a pain in the neck. My grandmother had a set. Pretty, but...what? You get them out for your set of nesting Russian wooden dolls to stand on ('cuz what else works) and then have to put them away all the time. Don't think so.
i think the idea of them makes sense...you need to move a little table for a drink next to a chair, etc....but, does anyone really ever do that or do they just stay nested? if that's the case, then i don't see the point. nice image though....good job on smashing the image i had in my mind of nesting tables.
Yes...I do use mine, I have them lined up horizontally...but I have so many little curios from travels, I take any surface I can get! Love the ones you have in the picture... Nathalie
Wow. If they looked like this, I'd love them!
ReplyDeleteI'd say yes if you actually used them all. Otherwise, what's the point?
ReplyDeletei love them!!

ReplyDeleteI say yes, and no, I do not use the baby one.
ReplyDeleteI don't like them because I love simplicity... I always feel less is best!
