  1. Did you fly to Mexico to have dinner at that cool restaurant, cause that looks like it's straight out of a travel magazine! And the boy, well, he is just plain adorable and then you go and add the caption about a week-long mission painting a shelter and you totally steal my heart. What a boy indeed. Good for you mama! And the pup, yep, he's a cutie.

Now tell me more about this whole corner view thing. I may want to play along.

    Have a super day, g.

  13. I'm speechless, where to begin!! Great mexican food and wonderful company is my kind of meal. Buddy is so... cute I love his big brown eyes. We had a pup named Buddy a good name for a dog. AND your handsome son giving to those in need is simply priceless. You must be very proud of him! You have done a great job my friend telling him compassion. I LOVE IT ALL!! Can you share more about the shelter? xoxo

  15. Awwww.....you guys are so sweet. He might cease speaking to me if he knew I gushed about him, but alas, he has no clue. It is a battered women and children's shelter on an Indian reservation in Albuquerque. They repaired and painted the home and every room to make it clean and inspiring. They also helped with the animals on the reservation, his favorite part. He needs all new clothing as painting himself seemed to be in order as well, but it was a great eye opener and good thing for him to be a part of. I highly recommend trips like this for teens.

  16. Oh, and also, Buddy is a rescue dog that is sweeter than his little face even shows. He has not done anything but make us smile since he walked in the door four years ago. A doll. A big boy, too!

    Thanks for asking!
