No..no typo.
Aerin Lauder of Estee Lauder fame has one in her son's room that was recently featured in Elle Decor. That price tag is how many tubes of mascara?
Oh, and it is a chair......
Style or vile?

if if if i thought I would want one....i'd make my own out of old beany babies found on ebay for $1. i loved your line about the mascara. i always appreciate a well designed office, but isn't there something about walking into a lawyer or a doctor's office where everything isn't perfect and you can think....well, i can see i'm not paying for that. everytime i see her mascara now, i'm going to think....well, she has to pay for that chair!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the shout-out, Sweets. Great minds think alike. ;)
ReplyDeleteugh.
ReplyDeleteUgly. Ugly. Ugly.
ReplyDeleteNot even vile. Just plain ugly. It's the stuff nightmares are made of.
Are you kidding me, it looks like a toy store threw up,... Vile, and what was she thinking?
ReplyDeleteVile if I'm buying. Style if I'm selling.
ReplyDeleteDepressing-looks like a mass grave.
ReplyDeletewow
ReplyDeletei love that!!!!
kids must love that!!
Sassy Pants-your comment made me laugh out loud! That is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteA little bit INSANE don't you think? $75K! The price and the chair is VILE!
ReplyDeleteI saw this in her house spread and thought it was a chair piled with stuffed animals and as such, it was kind of cute. Knowing now that it's one piece, I say vile for sure. And $75k is obscene even if you are a Lauder.
ReplyDeleteSo I know you know the answer to this one. It's not like it's a query for the ages. VILE! Especially considering the obscene price tag. What are those beasties stuffed with anyway? Gold nuggets and diamond baubles?
ReplyDeleteI think it's cute but not 75k cute!
ReplyDeleteIt must have come from FAO Schwartz!
ReplyDeleteOh that is vile and the price tag is obsene and anyone who buys it needs their head examined !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNot even a question... vile... especially at that price tag. I thought beanie babies weren't that expensive. Couldn't you just hot glue a bunch on a chair and call it a day for about one-one hundredth of the cost?
ReplyDeleteif i had a spare $75k to spend, it wouldn't be on a stuffed animal chair for a kid. nope. no way!
ReplyDeletedid i type $75?!?!?! i meant $75k!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. I don't think I understand. I'll have to go back and review that one...
ReplyDeleteShouldn't a chair look and feel comfortable? That looks like one of our girl's toy boxes!
ReplyDeleteVile. And, uncomfortable!
Hugs!!
I don't like this one at all... It looks like a spider~~
ReplyDeletexox's
My kids would have been so mad that the animals did not come off! It would have been like chinese water torture. I would have had to go through an entire explanation about how they liked where they lived and wnted to stay together, they loved their preschool teachers, and the ultimate when desperate. their mommy would miss them if we cut them off..not worth the 75K
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of mascara! Hmmm... just think how many little ones $75,000 can feed? xoxo
ReplyDeleteI would buy Hermes Birkinssss... am I shalow or am I shalow?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for identifying it; I thought it was a vomitous mass. :)
ReplyDeleteHA, the price tag is stupid but the idea, for a childs room (nowhere else, god no) I really like. having seen how the small children around me will never sit on the floor when they can sit on a pile of toys, I think it'd be a hit.
ReplyDeleteUm I think I have one of these, it was real easy, I just picked up all Syd's webkinz and threw them on her chair while I hoovered... simple. Love your blog... found you on Corner View....where is it this week???? or was this the secret? if so it should stay that way!
ReplyDeletefun for a kids room, but the cost is crazy!
ReplyDeletei'm confused about how this works. it's kind of making my skin crawl a bit (uh yeah that's happens when i see an ugly chair).
ReplyDeleteVile, especially at that idiotic price. And special? Anyone with an FAO Shwartz catalogue and a canvas chair could put this together.
