This look was sent over by my favorite Janet ever at the gorgeous French Blue. I know there are a lot of interesting hair fascinators(a word I didn't know until I moved to blogland-we call them "clips" where I come from.) and hats these days, but is this fashion statement for the birds?
Style or vile? Do tell!
What is that stuff Tape???
ReplyDeleteNo I would never sport that, however I am not America's Next Top Model,.. sooo
If it is on the runway then kool,.. if at the park on a play date,. not so much.
Sorry have neither vile nor style to state,...
HAve a happy Thursday!
everytime, i think you are going to have a hard time topping this one and then you do! it looks like it was put together with scotch tape. i want to know what the model was thinking because she sure looks like she is in deep thought....maybe she is thinking...happy place...happy place....VILE
ReplyDeleteI think it would have been much more style if it had been made with something that didn't look like tape! It is kind of cool. I agree with Sassy Pants ~ great for the runway, not so much the park ;)
ReplyDeleteI can kind of appreciate this but birds freak me out so I have to go with vile.
ReplyDeleteSmiling out loud! LOVE this post! It just felt & looked like you when I saw it~ So style & vile all rolled into one! Thank you for the mention of frenchyB!!
ReplyDeletexo's
G.-I adore it and I would wear it. I don't think it looks like tape, I think it looks like braided ribbons. I adore hats and fascinators and I think this is wonderful. But then, I am counting the days until Marc's bunny ears come out this fall! STYLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these posts of yours. Don't tell anyone but I came here first today. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with vile, but I've been told that I don't have style.
Only half of our kids are taller than me and I'm freaking out. Thanks for stopping by and understanding why I'm freaking!
Happy weekend!
Hugs!!
That is completely bizzare. Maybe on Halloween if I was trying to pull of a Bjork sort of look...Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletei can appreciate it as an art form....but not a hat...
ReplyDeleteRight Bank-that is so funny. I know,it sort of looks like someone shot it and it landed on her head...stylishly...perhaps?? Hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteDidn't anyone learn the "swan lesson" from Bjork at the Oscars a few years ago :-)
ReplyDeleteugh. i just don't think i can get behind this one.
ReplyDeleteVery stylish on the runway and there are even some events that come to mind where this could be a statement piece.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't translate to the street.
BTW, I just sort of stumbled onto your blog and I'm so glad I did. Lot's of good stuff. Very inspiring!
I jumped on as a follower. So please, stop by and visit my blog. Heck, maybe you'll want to visit mine as well.
Def VILE!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of Bjork so I have to go with vile.
ReplyDeletesorry, but it is for the birds. blech! but it did make me laugh, so thank you for that! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I think I'm going to have to go with vile!
ReplyDeleteThe Townhouse Lady and Just A Girl-really glad you dropped by and I will be right over!
ReplyDeleteit makes for a great photo but wearing it out may not work unless you're an entertainer...lol
ReplyDeleteOh my. That really is awful. Wow.
ReplyDeleteOkay, okay, do you remember bjork's swan dress worn at the grammy awards some years back? This is the hat she was lacking. Quite vile-ish!
ReplyDeleteSuch creativity, love it!
ReplyDeletewell, I'd have to say vile. fabulously creative but a big NO WAY!
ReplyDeleteIf it was like, one sixth of the size it would win for me. Its graceful and elegant and i like how it looks as a statue or artwork, but not to wear. too big. too silly. But a little tiny swan in your hair? Win.
ReplyDeleteLOL, neither. it's hilarious!
