I am hot. It is in getting up to 95, 96 again today and it feels like a noose. Summer came two days ago, and while welcome, it is being a bit pushy. Even in the cool air conditioning, which I do not prefer, it feels like all of my furniture and fabric are trying to smother me. I need very simple, sparse places right now to let the cool breeze run through.
You? How you feeling about the Summer days?
(some images are from this is glamorous, if the lampshade fits)
G.-While everyone else seems to be sweltering, DC is having a cool, wet summer. It is lovely for a change-can't deal with the 95-100 we sometimes have. Stay cool. Love the room with the lucite!
ReplyDeleteHi G. I'm from the OC and at the beach. We are enjoying foggy mornings and clear afternoons. But, it costs a fortune to live here. So, don't worry.... be happy. Love the lightness of all the photos! Be cool.
ReplyDeleteOur Seattle sun has come back for one day only! I love those gray chairs...where to put them, where to put them...?
ReplyDeleteumm I am in my 3 trimester so I am hot and evil ;)
ReplyDeletethese are all light and airy "summer spaces"...it's about to turn into an oven here, we'll be into the 100's before you know it (uck).
ReplyDeleteIt's water time dewdrop~~
ReplyDeletexox's
quite warm here too ... and gues what ... no air conditioning !!!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful selection, very lovely and refreshing.
I'm welcoming the warmth. I don't know why I live where it snows. I love the Summer and can't seem to get enough of it this year...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures.
Hugs!!
I feel your pain. It's hotter than squat here, too. I've only had the A/C on for a few days and already feel like a shut-in.
ReplyDeleteThe A/C guy had to come today to fix an annoying high pitched whine coming from my condenser. Yikes. $285. Plus he says my system is on its last leg and I'm looking at a $4000 new HVAC cost. Pray for cool weather!
g- I hate summer, all of summer, every aspect. But, as much as I hate summer, I love the antlers in photo #1! I never woulda thunk it!
ReplyDeletei'm hot, too. it's 95ish here, too, but with the heat index it feels like 105. yuck. thank god for central air!
ReplyDeletei still love summer, though. :)
i hate sweaty hot summer weather. it makes me miserable. but you know what? i LOVE the pictures above. now if i could only live amongst them! :)
ReplyDeleteWe're having some fabulous weather over here - it's our reward for the crappy weather we have to put up with the rest of the year. That third photo is DIVINE!
ReplyDeleteit's hot here too...maybe even more than hot. just like megan, it was a feel like temperature of 105. the only break we seem to be getting from it comes with a nasty thunderstorm. still love summer though!
ReplyDeletenot too hot yet...it's been a very rainy season so far. ask the same question in a month and it will be a different story. Gorgeous grand white mirror by the way. it is sensational. want it.
ReplyDeletePretty spaces...I love that chandelier. It is raining like crazy in NY so right now it doesn't really feel much like summer. I haven't had to go outside much today though, so I'm enjoying the rain:)
ReplyDeleteOh, these look just right! Wow - wee bit warm, huh? I'm loving that we;re finally warming up here and having some sunny days! About time!
ReplyDeleteTry 105 and rising every day....LOVE the pictures!
ReplyDeleteNathalie
Today was the first day it hasn't rained in ages for us up here in the NYC area. I was collecting supplies to build an ark but I may put it on the back burner to see if this sun thing hangs out for a while.
ReplyDeleteI can take heat. Humidity? That will make me want to kill.
ooh the plastic table and chair are HOT
