.rain, rain, you've outlived your stay...

Rain, the first day you came to town, I was thrilled.  You were refreshing. The next seven have made you a bit of a tired guest. My cilantro says thank you, but my hair says chia pet, expanding with each drop. I am slip-sliding in my flip flops-which is more annoying than my hair.   Let's do lunch is a few weeks, but for now, can you pack your bags....please?

  8. It is raining so hard here that people's cars are, literally, floating down the street. Swear. I guess that puts my hair concerns on the back burner.....

  12. The rain has moved to London in the meantime. I'm off to Paris tomorrow and I fear it will follow me there... It's not bad at this time of a year but you're right, a little sun would do nicely!

  13. Love that first shot - very eloquent. Here we don't get enough rain, so each shower is refreshing and long-awaited...but after our endless waves of late snow this spring, I certainly know the feeling!
